Book Review
I am using the English file elementary book for adult French learners who have learned a bit of English at school and who wish to develop their language skills for visits abroad, etc. I find this series meets this requirement extremely well. The modules are well constructed, with a strong bias towards listening/speaking – exactly what is needed. It is a real bonus having all the listening exercises on the student CD.
That way I can encourage the student to study privately between courses. I have used other levels in the same series and they are well received by adult learners. I would definitely recommend it.
