As the title suggests, the focus is on developing speaking skills in the contexts of day-to-day dealings with customers, clients, and suppliers of services or goods. Great emphasis is also placed on developing listening skills. Integrated writing tasks are included where appropriate and reading comes in the form of informative texts on business communication skills and typical business documents such as faxes and letters.
