This IELTS Study Skills Edition of Headway Academic Skills is designed specifically for students who are planning to take the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test, who are within an IELTS band of 3.0–4.5.
In addition to the complete Level 1 Reading & Writing and Listening & Speaking content from Headway Academic Skills, this edition contains two IELTS practice tests and gives access to additional online practice.
All four skills are integrated into the course, which includes the complete Level 1 Reading & Writing and Listening & Speaking content from Headway Academic Skills. Academic study skills are developed through a wide range of topics relevant to higher education.
The Student’s Book contains two complete IELTS practice tests with extra test-taking skills and practice exercises.
Access to online practice is included with the Student’s Book. Students can access additional reading, listening, speaking and writing activities with learner-centered support, and an online practice test.
The Teacher’s Guide includes a full, explanatory key to IELTS practice tests, with detailed listening development and writing samples. It also includes photocopiable worksheets and extension activities for extra practice of typical academic tasks.
