How can I crack TOEFL iBT?
Here are the five tips you can use to crack a TOEFL test.
Tip 1. You must know exactly how the test is performed.
You need to know exactly what the test is going to look like, how they’re going to ask you these questions and the four portions of the exam: reading, writing, speaking, and listening and this is just going to help you in being successful in the long run.
Tip 2. Improve Your Listening Skills
To improve your listening you can listen to music, podcast, tv shows, movies.
Just make sure that if you’re watching movies or tv shows that you’re not always focusing on the subtitles, but that you’re actively listening and trying to understand the information.
Also, if you decide to listen to music, make sure to find the translation in your native language and you can use this information to improve, like don’t just listen, but also translate.
Tip 3. Improve Your Speaking Skills
To improve your speaking you can get a TOEFL tutor, and let them know that you’re practicing and studying for the TOEFL, and they can ask you test questions from previous exams and they’ll correct you if you make mistakes. This is one of the best ways to practice speaking.
Tip 4. Improve Your Writing Skills
Try to find a great online platform, an online forum, that you can write, let’s say, a paragraph about or so about how your day went or really any topic, and native speakers go and correct you and let you know what you did wrong.
Now, this is really great because when you practice writing you need to do it often and frequently and there’s always someone on the online forum that’s going to be there able to help you.
You can also use Grammarly if you’re focusing or struggling with spelling errors. Grammarly is just something you can find on the internet, it’s a program, and you download it and when you write your essays or write your practice tests, it will correct you and give you suggestions about what you could write instead.
Tip 5. Practicing every day
You need to incorporate learning English into your everyday life. Now you can do this with music or with movies or tv shows or perhaps reading the news in English. But it’s just important that you practice for at least 10 minutes every day, to improve.
